I aspire to be George one day! I met George during my first visit to Boston September 2022 and was determined to say hello again during my second visit to Boston June 2023. His cheery personality and helpful wisdom is a welcomed value add to this great community and speaks to what matters most in life - kind human connection. Look forward to keeping in touch with him!

Hi George. I just read your article in the Boston Globe and I am an employee in Harvard Sq. Things are really going well for me as of recent. However I cannot shake a crush. So here is the story. Back last August this woman joined a Meetup group that I am also part of. We connected on FB since we had similar interests and seemed like another person I could strike up a friendship with. She came to this big summer party the Meetup host had in Somerville. When I met her in person I caught feelings. September rolls around and we go out a couple of times. After the second time, I gave her a peck on the cheek. A week later she texts me and says “you’re a really nice person but I am not looking for a romantic relationship.” It still hurts. I hope someday she comes back into my life. She really blew the roof off the arena. She’s an engineer, she’s beautiful, engaging, and sweet. I really don’t know how to get over her and i desperately want to.

Hi George.Nice to meet you. This is Danny from China.I just knew you from a Chinese friend. She met you in campus some days ago.Glad to know you really do some meaningful and warm things.
I am 27 and I have been a salesman in a Chinese local supermarket for 4 years.I was a student in the top Chinese college. But I dropped out from it.The direct reason is that I was addicted into the computer game during my college time so I cannot pass the exam. The further reason is I got depression 5 years ago.to some extent, the depression is also the outcome of my dropped-out.
I am single and still lived with my parent now.
